Inauguration Day... Praise to the USA!

A familiar look at the Tetons on this historic day reminds me how blessed we all are and fortunate to live in such an amazing period of US & World history despite the overwhelming negative news on a daily basis. The challenges ahead are enormous but this great land and people will prevail.

On a lighter note, a recent high pressure has settled in the entire west and for now, snow is not the weather news. Our snowpack is very good for now, holding at over 100% of normal, and it looks like, at the very least, we will have an average runoff, which should dawn another fantastic season. On the horizon, I am planning a day trip to the HF in Idaho for some peace and quite time on a great winter venue.
